The Terra Surfers bring sun-drenched surf rock straight out of landlocked Colorado Springs, blending high-energy originals with classic wave-riding favorites. Fresh off their debut EP and appearances on radio and podcasts, they deliver a full-on beach party vibe every time they hit the stage—check the events page and catch the next wave!

Formed in late 2024, they have played at festivals, car shows, and venues in the Colorado Front Range region.   They released an EP of new original songs in December 2025 with one track featured on an Interntional vinyl release from Colorado Instrumental Fanzine.   Their sound is part classic 60's style surf (ie Dick Dale, The Chantays, The Ventures, Pulp Fiction soundtrack) and part modern surf style featuring lush reverb, big drums, soaring guitar melodies and exotic tones.  

Surf music has the ability to take the listener to a familiar place or feeling.  A beach? A desert landscape? A tropical paradise?  You can decide...

The Terra Surfers close out this slice of vinyl with “Solar Vortex.” It begins with small steps to an eventual sound that gives it a mysterious sci-fi feel, which is the intent here. Being a vortex is an “out there” thing when one imagines it in the mind’s eye. The guitar’s resonant tones and layered effect, along with crashing cymbals and a thumping bass, hold you spellbound from start to finish. A great musical climax to close the curtain on this short trip around the world of surf instro.
